I had the honor of being at the 2017 North Georgia Annual Conference’s Ordination Ceremony last month. Bishop Sue (as she likes to be called) was amazing. She invited all the ordinands to her home for dinner.
She invited the local licensed pastors on stage and called each one by name, which I had never seen before. She gave ever ordinand a big hug, as they left the stage; and when she preached she was able to convey some tough messages in a warm and encouraging manner. I am not surprised that she treated Bishop Oliveto in the same respectful and sincere manner.
